SoftSource, Bellingham, WA has introduced Vdraft AutoCAD-drawing based CAD software for Windows 95/NT, the first program produced outside of Autodesk that can create and edit AutoCAD drawings and DXF files in their native format with no translation. Hundreds of drawings can be viewed and edited simultaneously, each in their own window. Commercial plug-in versions of the Vdraft Internet Tools are included for DXF, DWG, and SVF, and are compatible with Netscape Navigator and Microsoft Explorer. It writes and reads AutoCAD drawings from release 2.5 to 13, and supports direct e-mail of drawings. The cost is $250.
